We know the servers going public, but Public = Griefers. SOLUTION!!

Hey guys!
So Ive just been talking about how the server going public is gonna affect the amount of griefers and spammers.
I then had an idea!
How about,
once the server goes public, a new member will be in the GUEST category. They cannot yet destroy blocks or place blocks.
A member of staff asks them 3-5 questions about the rules, and the concequences of not following those rules.
Once the new member shows they understand the rules and agrees to follow them, They will be moved to the MEMBER category.

I think this is a pretty good idea!

I like the idea

We are working on a lot of ways to reduce the amount of grief. But on any server there will always be people breaking rules no matter how many obsticals we put in their way.

Back to your suggestion, this idea is insufficient. What if there's no staff online? What if there's too many guests for 1 or 2 members to handle? We will end up loosing players due to impatience. Tbh I would leave too if I had to answer questions to build.

Guests will have the same rights as a member, there is no 100% way to stop griefers, but the server has more than enough tools to ban and roll back what they damage.

I like the idea, but the same time DeeKay has a point.
There would need to be an increase in staff but at the same time, they're have to staff on every second.
With a growing server, so does the amount of staff, though.
