You shouldn't be able to obtain the items on the showcases by walking/jumping near them, as they don't have a 'pickup' code, so they are not actual items.
But I did notice the Gold Pants and Gold Boots were slightly buggy, so I replaced the showcase for those 2 items. Thanks for letting me know!
