What do you look for in a server?: Concerning the people on the server, a close-knit and mature community of people willing to work together is what is most important to me. For the technicalities of the server itself, I love SMP servers with grief protection and a whitelist to keep the riff-raff out. Bukkit's nice too, but not necessary.
