Change difficulty to Normal

I suggest you should change the difficulty to Normal because there aren't enough mobs during the night and I need to gain XP to enchant my tools. Also I enjoy a bit of a challenge.

P.S: I'am aware of using mob spawners, have not found one yet.

Servers always have a lower spawn rate, this is due to the fact that there are more people in different chunks. When your in single player you are in 1 chunks 5 mobs will spawn out of a maximum of say 20, But when your on the server these 20 mobs will be split over 10 chunks meaning only 2 mobs can spawn. It looks like this server has a problem with the mobs spawning because your used to playing on servers on hard.

Also I believe that carlo found a mob spawner yesterday.

I remember my server... so... many... creepers... in short, the spawn rate was insane.
