Possible DirtyXDeedz dkcraft series

Hey ladies and gentlemen,

Hope everyone had a great xmas and new year!!! Sorry I haven't been on the server that much over the last couple of weeks, just have been real busy with my ANWA and DirtyXDeedz commitments. Anyway i'm thinking about doing a series on our server, not that its original but thought it would be a bit of fun and would enable our server to get recognised and for people to show of there work if they would like!

I've recorded a few clips of just my general area, but wouldn't publish without permission from you guys. So what are your thoughts? Any ideas?

Sounds like a great idea! We definetly need some more recognition and YouTube is the best way to get it, as well as the Minecraft forums.
Sure you can upload some vids of the server, but I wanna be careful about who comes on these days, as I don't yet have a proper anti grief system, which means for now any grief will have to be repaired, or the map will have to be rolled back if the damage is significant.
But I will start looking into MySql databases and get the grief tool ready.
Suggestion: A nice looking promo for the server will be great. Just showing off some on the builds we currently have on the server, aswell as the IP and the forum address displayed somewhere in the promo.

Very true DK about the griefing, im not full bottle about this but can people come onto the server without being whitelisted? The promo is a great idea, would be sweet if i could record some fly-bys and speed builds.

EDIT-If anyone would like some of there creations used in the promo, please PM me with a time that would suit you to film.

Just give me a shout when you want to record, I'll be more then happy to give you creative mode so you can do some fly-by shots of the server.
No, for now all players must make a whitelist application to join the server. It's just so I can keep track of who's joined the server, and it's also kind of a way to see what kind of person they are, for example if someone was to answer 'What do you look for in a server?:' with 'Rule breaking and lots of griefing' then it's probably not best to let them on

i was going to start right away!! i also need to know whats out there, cause i haven't ventured too much out of my lil area.

It's really up to you to find things, as I myself haven't explored much of the world either.
I will be on later to change your gamemode to creative. Unless an Op can do it sooner.

syko tried to put me in creative, but didnt work. So yeah if you get a chance to do it tonight that would be great.
